Prince’s Qualifiers

Over at prince’s, three players punched their tickets to Royal Portrush.Curtis Knipes and Callum Shinkwin led the way with scores of -9 each, while Austin Connelly secured his spot with a score of -8. Knipes stood out as one of three amateurs to make it through final qualifying.
St. Anne’s Old Links Qualifiers
garrick Porteous, Jack senior, Matthew Baldwin
Garrick Porteous and jack Senior both finished strong at St. Anne’s Old Links with scores of -10 each to secure their spots in The Open. Matthew Baldwin also booked his ticket with a score of -9. Porteous missed the cut in his lone prior Open appearance but will have another shot this year.
Fairmont st. Andrews Qualifiers
Brandon Wu (a), Connor Syme, Sam Locke
Brandon Wu led the pack at Fairmont St. Andrews with a score of -9 to qualify for his second major start in two months after an impressive showing at Pebble Beach where he finished T-35. Connor Syme and Sam Locke also earned their spots with scores of -6 and -4 respectively.
With seven spots still up for grabs via the Open Qualifying Series,players will have more opportunities to secure their place in the Open field through upcoming events like the Irish Open and Scottish Open before heading to Royal Portrush later this month.
