H2: Tiger Woods Involved in Car Accident at home
H3: Wife Uses Golf Club to Rescue Him
H4: European Tour Chief Expresses relief for Golfer’s Safety
Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident outside his home, where his wife, Elin, used a golf club to break a rear window and free him from the vehicle. The incident occurred in Isleworth, an exclusive suburb in Windermere, Florida. Despite the crash involving a fire hydrant and a tree, Woods was released from the hospital in good condition.
European Tour chief executive George O’Grady expressed relief that Tiger Woods did not sustain serious injuries in the accident. The golfer was taken to Health Central Hospital for treatment but was later discharged with no major issues.
Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor reported that Elin Woods played a crucial role in helping her husband out of the car after he was found lying on the street following the crash. While there were facial lacerations, it appears that Tiger Woods will make a full recovery.
The florida Highway Patrol confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the crash involving Woods’ 2009 Cadillac SUV. Though, investigations are ongoing, and charges might potentially be pending as part of standard procedure.
Despite this setback, Tiger Woods had recently won the JBWere Masters in Melbourne and is scheduled to host his own tournament next week. It remains uncertain whether he will be able to attend or compete given his current condition.
