The Arnold Palmer Experience: A Tribute to a Golf Legend

Interactive Exhibit at the Arnold Palmer Invitational

Fans attending this year’s Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando, Fla., will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the life and legacy of the tournament’s namesake. The tournament organizers have announced the unveiling of an interactive exhibit called the Arnold Palmer Experience, which will be on display throughout the week when the PGA Tour makes its way to Bay Hill from March 4-10.

A Tribute to a Golf Icon

The centerpiece of this exhibit is a domed, 360-degree theater located adjacent to the 10th hole. This immersive experience will be free for all fans to visit and will showcase highlights from Arnold Palmer’s remarkable life and career. Known for winning seven majors, Palmer left an indelible mark on the world of golf before passing away in 2016 at age 87.

In addition to showcasing memorable moments from his career, fans will also have the opportunity to compare their swing with that of Palmer’s iconic move. The exhibit will feature side-by-side comparisons that allow visitors to see how their technique stacks up against one of golf’s greatest players.

Furthermore, fans can test their shot-making skills on some of the toughest holes designed by Palmer himself. This hands-on experience offers a unique insight into his approach as a course designer and allows visitors to appreciate his skill and creativity on another level.

After the conclusion of the tournament, plans are underway to keep this interactive theater open for Bay Hill guests for several weeks. Following its stay in Orlando, it will then travel to Latrobe, Pa., where Arnold Palmer was born. The timing coincides with what would have been his 90th birthday in September, making it a fitting tribute to honor his enduring legacy within golfing history.

The Arnold Palmer Experience promises fans an unforgettable journey through time as they celebrate one of golf’s most beloved icons and pay homage to his lasting impact on the sport we all love.
